Entering into A New Season!! In 2003 God began to deal with me about a new season... for me and for the Empowered Church Family. He began leading me through the Bible, showing me the conclusion of one season and the beginning of another. I started seeing a common thread for the beginning of many new seasons and the common thread was the number 41. Here are just a few: *Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, and on the 41st year they entered the Promised Land.*Goliath taunted the armies of Israel for 40 days; and on day 41 David killed the giant, and Israel triumphed over the Philistines. *Jonah preached to the city of Nineveh for 40 days; and on day 41 they repented, and God saved the city. *Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights in the wilderness being tempted of the devil; and on day 41 He defeated the devil with the Word of God and began His ministry on earth. *After Jesus was raised from the dead, He was on the earth 40 days. Day 41 marked a new beginning for all mankind!
I am very aware that a new harvest
requires a new seed. So I
began to seek the heart of God about sowing a new seed for a new
season. God continued to show me the number 41. I asked the
members of our church family to join me in sowing
a $41.00 seed to signify the
conclusion of one season and the beginning of another. The results
were rapid and extraordinary.
TESTIMONIES *Jonathan sowed $41 in a new season offering. He had just been audited by the IRS. They told him he owed $8298.00 in taxes. The next morning he received a call from his accountant. The IRS voided the $8298.00 and gave him $16,000.00 more in deductions! *Brian and Kathy sowed a $41 seed for a new season. The supervisor for the company their business was working for called Brian to their office and told him, "It is my position to save the company money...but you are not charging enough." It was the beginning of a rapid increase of income. Brian and Kathy are now millionaires. *Joe sowed a $41 seed for a new season. He counted out 41 days, and on day 41 he made $16,000 for the month. *Shawn sowed a $41 seed for a new season and received an $18,000/year raise. *I preached for a friend of mine in Port St. Lucie, FL. One of his associated pastors, Pastor Dave, had been in the process of purchasing a 10 acre parcel of property and the deal fell through the week before I preached for them. Someone else had bought the property out from under him. He and his wife sowed a $41 seed to resurrect the property deal. The next day the bank called and asked if they were still interested in the property. The answer was obviously "yes." To make a long story short, they arranged financing on the property and at closing discovered it had several horse stables (that's what they wanted the property for) and all the stables were rented. The rent on the stables paid the mortgage on the property!! The property appraised for $440,000.00. *I was sharing some of these testimonies with a friend of mine (who is a pastor) at lunch one day. His church building had burned to the ground the month prior. As we were getting in our separate cars and leaving the restaurant I looked in my rear view mirror, and he was approaching my car. I saw him hunting in his pockets and when he got to my car, I opened the window. He had $41 cash in his hand. He said, "Something told me to sow one of those $41 seeds for a new season." I told him to mark his calendar and see what God would do. He called me several days later and said, "Charles, today is day 41 and the staff in charge of the Jewish synagogue in our town told us we could use their building for our services as long as we wanted... for nothing."
I believe God spoke to me directly about this miraculous
$41.00 seed. Many people sowed for family members and they
received financial miracles and healings. My wife and I have had
financial miracle after financial miracle.
The testimonies go on and on and all because of this unusual $41 seed... signifying a new season. I cautioned our church family not to think they were "making a deal" with God or buying a miracle. SOW A SEED God honors seed. And when the seed is significant to you, it will be significant to God. There is a miracle in your $41.00 seed. If you need a new season, sow a $41.00 seed and watch what God does with it. (Consider sowing one for another family member or a friend, too.) I am excited about your new season!
